Unterbacher See
The "Unterbacher See" in Düsseldorf (Germany) offer a huge programm for recreation. A clear direction, connection and visibility in between the points should clearly arrange the huge proposal. The excisting landing stages at the harbour and sailing school will be extended by new stages at each station around the lake. This will be offer a optical connection among each other. The "docking" of different functions at a landing stage offers a uncomplicated configuartion of each station.

The lake is the main orientation as a permanent relation and view. The pavillions are all-around open. The resulting panorama view aid the visual connection from inside and outside. Also the light construction supports the transparency and harmonic component of the architecture in the surrounding landscape. A coat in form of moveable sails generate the 2nd skin around the structure and protect the building against sun and wheater conditions. They operate for the spatial effect and inform the inside. On the other side they help the outside as a dynamic and constant changeable facade. The room can be adjusted in size and impression as needed. The view from ground to water and reverse is the basic requirement of the characteristic landscape protection. The sensitive handling with the nature and the better air conditions under the building will be handled by lifting up the architecture. The lightness, degree of permeability and clearly arangment of the architecture defined inside and outside of the open structure and shows the open and explicit specified inside spaces.

The scale of the pavillions define a central orientation of the new landmark by using three defined heights of the pavillions. Four different facade types combined with two defined pavillion deepness - depend on the function – which offers a flexible arrangement of the structure.
